High School Rugby
SFGG is pleased to announce the MANDATORY registration date for the u19(HS ages 14-19) 2011 season.
This year in addition to the mandatory meeting, all players, and parents will be receiving a briefing followed by player physicals conducted by UCSF orthopedic and sports medicine department.
The meeting and physicals are mandatory for ALL players and parents. UCSF and SFGG have agreed to continue our partnership for 2011. Under our new agreement with UCSF the player physicals which have always been required will be conducted by UCSF, in order for the Hospital to provide us with the highest level of service, which includes:
- An annual physical
- Doctors and/or Trainers at all home games
- Referrals to appropriate sources with other providers (i.e. Kaiser)
- Recurring player participation/injury evaluations
- Treatment with trainers and PT’s
- Preferential and prioritized scheduling, evaluation, and treatment at the UCSF Mission Bay Sports medicine and orthopedic department. Where getting an appointment can take a couple of weeks with most doctors, the UCSF Sports Medicine Dept. will look to see our players by the following Monday or Tuesday in non-emergency situations.

Follow Hwy-101 over the Golden Gate Bridge and go 4.6 miles. Take the Sir Francis Drake Blvd. exit and wrap under the freeway heading toward San Anselmo. Go 1.2 miles until you arrive at 675 Sir Francis Drake Blvd. You will turn left into the school directly after passing through the Bon Air Drive stoplight.
