![]() Coach NEILL FOOTE was pleased with the overall team effort put out over the full 80 minutes. Having no prior information about the Jesters, the team prepared by working on the basic patterns and principles that have been the focus for the season. PILA HUIHUI was named Man of the Match for staying in the pattern defensively and taking advantage of the attacking opportunities which come from this. He scored 3 tries with several gems in the corner PILA IONGI, starting at Fullback for the first time in several weeks got right back into his rhythm with his first try 7 minutes into the game - and again at 11 and 18 minutes for his early hat trick. The Coach was particularly pleased with the defensive effort which shut out the jesters who had been scoring a lot of tries over their season. This included about 8 minutes of stonewalling the goal line near the end of the game. Coach Foote plans to prepare for the Huns the same way. We know they have already committed to be in the first season of the new professional league and have the basis for that entry playing now. Onward Through the Fog! Go Gate!
