Our women continued their dominant play against the non-Life teams in the NorCal Division 2 league. San Jose’s Ange got an early (2”) score, but SFGG then got on the board with an ERICA EHARO try – the first of 5 that half. LINDSEY KINSLER narrowly missed the first conversion, but nailed the conversion after VALERIE ERNST’s first (of 2) tries. Next to touch down – LEX JOHNSON. The half ended with a 60 meter run ending a ROZ OKPARA classic.
After the break KEELEY SCHERER wasted little time scoring a converted try at 43 minutes. Before the game ran out, KINSLER found her rhythm and hit a long conversion for both SCHERER’s try, and for LAUREN WACK’s. Tries by KINSLER, KRISTIN SHUM and SHO MARKUS and another by the San Jose flanker saw the final tally SFGG 58 – San Jose 10. Next up – the All Blues, who won their game against Sacramento on Saturday. They and our team promise to provide a competitive game – come check it out,
